It should surprise no one that the team behind Netflix’s ‘Quarterback’ approached the Dallas Cowboys‘ star player Dak Prescott to ask him to participate in the series.
However, the quarterback decided against appearing on the docuseries, which is receiving rave reviews.

The show, which premiered this month, was spearheaded by executive producer Peyton Manning and featured the likes of Patrick Mahomes from the Chiefs, Kirk Cousins from the Vikings and Marcus Mariota from the Falcons as its subjects.
The series goes beyond football, capturing moments in their living rooms, cars, and beyond.
Prescott, who is about to begin his eighth NFL season as he nears his 30th birthday this weekend, disclosed that he was approached twice – once a year ago and then a second time – to join the Netflix show. However, he chose not to participate in the project.
“I get enough media,” Prescott told Sports Illustrated.
“This team gets enough coverage.”
“I’m not a TV guy. I haven’t seen it.
“I asked Peyton [Manning] if he would do it if he was me.”
It seems, therefore, that Prescott simply wants to focus on football as he hopes that 2023 might finally be the season when the Cowboys return to the Super Bowl.
