CHRP Revised Curriculum Gains Momentum with August 2025 Results

The Human Resource Examinations Board has released the August 2025 results, signaling strong uptake of the Revised Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) Curriculum. A total of 1,222 candidates sat for CHRP Part I, Part II, and Part III exams, up from 1,107 in April 2025.

Performance Trends Under the New Curriculum

Results showed both strengths and areas needing improvement. The highest mean scores came from HR Management Information Systems (68.84), Coaching, Mentoring and Counselling (68.84), and HR Accounting, Metrics and Analytics (70.78).

In contrast, the lowest scores appeared in Accounting and Financial Management, Compensation and Reward Management, and Strategic Management for HR Practitioners.

The Board confirmed that the old CHRP curriculum will end in December 2025. Candidates who do not complete their studies by then will automatically transition to the revised program.

During the release, Board CEO CHRP Margaret Nguu encouraged dormant students to act. “This is your moment. Do not let it pass you by. Seize the opportunity and complete your CHRP studies before the old curriculum comes to an end,” she said.

With more candidates enrolling and stronger results in core HR subjects, the revised curriculum is already making an impact.

It positions future HR professionals to meet the sector’s evolving demands with better knowledge and practical skills.
