CARLINVILLE — A free program on keeping the brain and body healthy through aging will be offered from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Carlinville Public Library.

The educational program is being presented by the Illinois chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

“Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body” will discuss scientific insights on lifestyle choices to preserve brain and body health as people age. Tips from the latest research on the topics will be discussed.

The program also will cover diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement. Hands-on tools will be presented to help those attending implement recommendations.
