Ian Hurdle, founder and director of The Agency’s Turks and Caicos office, has been appointed as the new president of the Turks and Caicos Real Estate Association.
Hurdle is a leading figure in Turks and Caicos’ luxury market and that of the broader Caribbean; his career spans more than 30 years in the real estate, construction, property management and hospitality industries.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ian Hurdle as the President of TCREA. His wealth of experience and proven leadership will undoubtedly contribute to the advancement of our association and the real estate sector in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Under his guidance, we anticipate reaching new heights and setting higher standards for the industry,” said former Vice President, Robert Greenwood.

The TCREA, established in 1999, plays a crucial role as the regulatory body overseeing the practice of real estate business and certifying real estate practitioners in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

The appointment of Hurdle comes as Turks and Caicos’ real estate market continues to lead the region, including unrivaled numbers in the luxury segment.
