Because of Kubosu’s impact on the sector, the announcement got a lot of attention. It drove the creation of several Neiro-themed meme coins. However, only one has stood out among the rest. Indeed, Neiro on Ethereum is looking like it could be the next dog-themed meme coin to surge.

Since Kubosu Mama announced that Neiro had joined her family, the crypto community got to work. Specifically, hundreds of these tokens created using her likeness began arriving on the Solana network. Created through Pump. Fun, they began generating millions in market cap.
Yet, with surging trading volumes, it was Neiro on Ethereum that emerged from the pack and looks to be the newest Shiba Inu to challenge Dogecoin. DEX Screener data shows that the ETH $NEIRO token has the highest market cap of these coins. Currently, the figure is more than $109 million, with the next largest at just $37 million.
That increase has definitely caught traders’ attention. Its meteoric rise and undeniable hype have fostered comparisons to the leading meme coin, DOGE. With the Neiro being brought into the community as Kubosu’s ‘sister’, a passionate community has arrived to support it. Which has it poised to really shine in the meme coin sector.
Even amid a crypto market downturn, Neiro on Ethereum has thrived. Bitcoin has plummeted, dropping more than 9% in the last 24 hours to its current $53,423 price, according to CoinMarketCap. Yet, ETH Neiro has weathered the storm. In that same time frame, the crypto is up more than 70%. Therefore, it is proving its potential to compete with some of the meme coin greats.
Crypto analyst Jake Gagain recently predicted that ETH Neiro could reach a market cap of $1 billion. If that were to take place, it would catapult the token into the market’s top six. Moreover, it would join meme coin success stories like Pepe (PEPE), Dogwifhat (WIF), Bonk (BONK), Floki Inu (FLOKI), and Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Pepe exploded onto the scene last year, reaching $1 billion in just 23 days. Yet, there is the potential for $NEIRO to reach the same mark faster. To this point, it is expected to smash every single record $PEPE set. Where the frog-themed meme coin took 16 days to reach $200 million, It’s only taken ETH Neiro six days to reach the same feat.
Neiro on Ethereum has clearly established itself as the winner of similar tokens created around the Shiba Inu dog. It also benefits from being on Ethereum, with Solama tokens sharing liquidity. The path to $1 billion has been forged, it’s up to the community to capitalize on it.
There are some roadblocks, with 78% of the supply taken up at its launch and FUD campaigns emerging. However, that hasn’t stood in the way, the token hit an all-time high of $0.21 on August 2nd, according to CoinGecko. That should be just the beginning for the token. After all, it has quite the legacy to live up to.
