Avalanche AVAX has risen to #12 on the list of top cryptocurrencies by market cap. At press time, AVAX is trading at $43.93 and is up 4% in the last seven days. The token is one of many cryptocurrencies currently benefitting from the bullish market. With recent price jumps, when can Avalanche AVAX reach $50?
Here’s when Avalanche’s native token is likely to reach this milestone, based on current price and price projections.

When Will Avalanche AVAX Reach $50?
Currently, AVAX is just over $6 away from the $50 milestone. The token hasn’t surpassed this mark since 2021 when it saw a dramatic fall as part of the crypto crash in the Spring. In December 2023, AVAX came close, reaching as high as $40, but to no avail. Now, we may be on our way to that milestone again.
Similarly to the December 2023 jump, most price analysts are predicting AVAX to perform well, but hit much resistance the closer it gets to $50. Price predictions from Changelly, for example, don’t see Avalanche reaching $50 until January 2025.

However, it is important to note that we are currently in one of the most bullish markets we’ve seen in cryptocurrency in some time. This is in part due to the rise of Bitcoin, including the upcoming halving and hype around BTC ETFs. Hence, it isn’t entirely impossible that AVAX could have strong enough momentum to break that resistance and hit $49 or even $50 within the near future. Perhaps within the next month, Avalanche AVAX could be seen toeing the line of final cents until reaching this milestone. On the other hand, it is entirely probable that current price projections and previous patterns could see the token fall just short again.
