ASELSAN, Turkey’s leading defense company, has achieved a record-breaking performance in 2024 by signing export contracts worth over $1 billion—the highest figure in its history. This milestone reflects the company’s expanding influence in global markets and its steady progress toward ambitious goals set for 2030.

Direct exports doubled compared to the previous year, reaching $217 million. Indirect exports through land, naval, and air platforms amounted to $291 million, bringing the total export volume to $508 million. These impressive figures underscore ASELSAN’s growing presence in the international defense industry.

In 2024, ASELSAN broadened its global reach by signing contracts with seven countries for the first time, increasing the total number of nations utilizing its technology to 92. The company also exported 31 products for the first time, including the ASELFLIR-500 camera, GÖZDE and KGK guidance kits, CENK naval radars, and the FERSAH anti-submarine sonar. Notably, the ASELFLIR-500, a new generation electro-optical system renowned for its superior performance on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), was sold to 16 countries in its first year of production.

To enhance its service to end-users worldwide, ASELSAN opened new offices in six different countries during 2024, expanding its global presence to 20 countries. This expansion allows the company to provide more localized support and strengthen relationships with international partners.

A significant achievement for ASELSAN was supplying the Ku-Band and X-Band LOCUS communication payloads for Turkey’s first domestic communication satellite, TÜRKSAT-6A. With this accomplishment, ASELSAN has demonstrated its capability to provide communication solutions across all platforms—from the depths of the sea to the expanse of space.

Reflecting on the company’s success, ASELSAN President and CEO Ahmet Akyol stated:

“2024 has been a remarkable year for ASELSAN in terms of new orders and deliveries both domestically and internationally. We have become one of the 10 fastest-growing defense companies in the world, climbing five places in the Defense News Top 100 list. I attribute these achievements to the dedicated work of our young and talented workforce and thank each of them for being part of this amazing team.

Looking ahead to 2025, our 50th anniversary, ASELSAN has even higher goals in sight. We are motivated to build on the achievements of 2024. We will continue to produce cutting-edge technologies with top-notch capabilities and efficient processes, presenting them to the world as part of our strategic vision for 2030, which we call aselsaneXt2030. I strongly believe we will continue to deliver innovative, mission-focused solutions for our customers while setting new standards for operational efficiency and technological leadership in the defense industry.”

As ASELSAN approaches its half-century milestone, the company remains committed to innovation and excellence, aiming to solidify its position as a global leader in defense technology.
