Performance and Connectivity
The iPhone 16E promises remarkable performance and efficiency thanks to its A18 chip, which is the same processor as the iPhone 16. This chip also supports Apple Intelligence, enhancing the device’s AI capabilities. The 6-core CPU is up to 80 percent faster than the A13 Bionic chip on the iPhone 11, handling both everyday and intensive tasks with ease.
Camera
The device has a 48MP Fusion camera with an integrated 2x telephoto lens, offering optical zoom without the need for multiple cameras, resulting in high-quality photos and videos.
Users have the equivalent of two cameras in one and can zoom in with optical quality to get closer to the subject and easily frame their shot. And the front-facing TrueDepth camera with autofocus enables sharper close-ups and beautiful group selfies.
The iPhone 16e offers 4K video recording with Dolby Vision up to 60 fps, allowing users to stop and restart recording for flexibility. It also records video in Spatial Audio for immersive listening with AirPods, Apple Vision Pro, or a surround sound system, and allows editing with Audio Mix.
Apple Intelligence

Users can also explore creative new ways with Image Playground and Genmoji. They can now type to Siri, and Siri is more conversational with the ability to follow along if users stumble over their words.
A new visual intelligence experience built on Apple Intelligence, which can summarize and copy text, translate text between languages, detect phone numbers or email addresses, identify objects, and search Google for shopping locations. Users can control when third-party tools are used and what information is shared.
Battery Life
With a battery life that is up to 6 hours longer than the iPhone 11, the iPhone 16E allows users to stay connected all day. Apple silicon—including C1—the all-new internal design, and the advanced power management of iOS 18 all contribute to extraordinary battery life.

Apple’s C1 modem, a departure from Qualcomm’s components, offers 5G connectivity, enhancing network speed and reliability. Available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB variants, the iPhone 16E caters to different storage needs.
iOS 18
iOS 18 also provides powerful updates for staying connected. In messages, users can use text effects to bring words, phrases, sentences, and more to life. Tapbacks expand to include emoji, genmoji, or stickers, and now users can schedule a message to send later. When messaging contacts who do not have an Apple device, the Messages app now supports RCS for richer media and more reliable group messaging when compared to SMS and MMS.
