His work is in line with the prestigious Nsukka art tradition, which has played a significant role in advancing and modernizing Igbo cultural aesthetics. He draws influence from traditional Uli and Nsibidi symbols. His art also speaks to the present, since he turns found things into incredibly detailed works of art, firmly establishing himself in the current conversation about ecological and environmental issues.
