The partnership will also encourage greater cooperation between telecom operators to boost international interconnectivity, expand mobile data services, and support the growth of cloud computing, 5G technologies, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Strategic areas such as data protection, cybersecurity, radio communications, spectrum management, and innovation are also key pillars of this agreement, reflecting both countries’ shared commitment to building a secure and forward-looking digital future.

Minister Zerrouki emphasized the strength and evolving nature of Algerian-Italian relations, describing the shift from a traditional partnership to a visionary alliance grounded in mutual interests and a clearly defined digital roadmap.
