According to Glitz Paris, the properties, located in some of the French capital’s most exclusive western suburbs, are valued at about €30 million.

Luxury real estate firms including Engel & Völkers and Barnes are handling the sales, which have already drawn strong interest from buyers in Paris’s tightly held high-end market.

Key Properties and Features

At the centre of the listings is a townhouse of over 1,300 square metres, offered for more than €20 million.

Located near the Jardin d’Acclimatation and the Bois de Boulogne, the residence includes sixteen rooms across multiple levels, with a master suite occupying the top floor.

Its interior blends classic luxury with Arab-inspired coffered ceilings and geometric parquet floors.

The basement is equipped with an indoor pool, hammam, private nightclub, and cold room for furs, making it one of the most extravagant Parisian homes on the market.

Nearby on Rue Windsor, a second residence of more than 500 square metres is also listed for sale. The home includes a 200-square-metre private garden, parquet floors, marble bathrooms, Murano glass chandeliers, and three generously sized suites, with an asking price of €7.5 million. T

he portfolio is rounded out by a penthouse in Courbevoie, near the La Défense business district.

Once the quiet Parisian refuge of the “silent princess,” these properties are now part of the family’s planned asset transition.

While Rabat has not commented, experts see the sales as a careful reorganisation of the royal heritage.

These properties were acquired in 2002 under management by Princess Lalla Latifa's property manager.

Ownership, Succession, and Legacy

All three properties were acquired in 2002 through private real estate companies managed by Elie Michel Rouimi, Princess Lalla Latifa’s Paris-based property manager.

Their current asking prices reflect the steep appreciation in Parisian luxury real estate over the past two decades.

Ownership has now passed to Prince Moulay Rachid and Princesses Lalla Meryem, Lalla Asmaa, and Lalla Hasnaa, while King Mohammed VI reportedly waived his share of the French inheritance.

Africa’s Wealthiest King: Mohammed VI

Beyond the Paris property sales, King Mohammed VI’s influence extends across Morocco’s economy. Widely regarded as Africa’s wealthiest king, he has an estimated fortune of $5.7 billion and controls Al Mada, which holds significant stakes in Attijariwafa Bank, Maroc Telecom, and Marjane, the country’s leading supermarket chain.

Known for maintaining a discreet personal life, he oversees a large family while strategically managing domestic and overseas assets.

Located near the Eiffel Tower, the property features 12 bedrooms, a swimming pool, a games room, a private garden, and secure parking, reflecting his taste for high-end real estate.

These Paris property sales, along with the broader holdings, underscore King Mohammed VI’s careful approach to succession planning and his long-term economic influence both domestically and internationally.

Wealth and Broader Holdings

The listings have renewed attention on the monarch’s wealth, which is rarely itemised publicly.

Family representatives are reportedly preparing the sale of additional Moroccan properties, including residences in Rabat and the coastal town of Bouznika, according to sources familiar with the matter.
