In a remarkable event that underscores the pivotal role of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) in the real estate sector, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, who presided over the official commissioning of NIESV’s new headquarters in Abuja, highlighted the enduring impact of the institute on real estate development in Nigeria.

Governor Obaseki, in his address, also lauded NIESV’s unwavering commitment to professionalism and innovation, describing the new headquarters as a symbol of resilience and excellence.

He emphasized the institute’s crucial role in shaping the trajectory of the Nigerian real estate sector, praising its efforts to uphold standards and promote professionalism over the years.

“This project stands as a testament to the dedication and professionalism of NIESV,” said Governor Obaseki. “The institute has remained steadfast in its mandate to foster professionalism, uphold standards, and drive positive change in the real estate industry. This new headquarters reflects NIESV’s enduring commitment to excellence and innovation,” he added.

Speaking at the ceremony, President of NIESV, Johnbull Amayaevbo, who hailed the new national secretariat as a milestone achievement, emphasized the importance of the new headquarters in bolstering the institute’s image and presence in the Federal Capital Territory.

He commended the collective efforts of NIESV members and stakeholders in realizing the vision of establishing a prominent foothold in Abuja.

“The inauguration of our new national secretariat marks a historic moment for NIESV,” stated President Amayaevbo. “This magnificent edifice is a testament to the power of collaboration and determination. It embodies the aspirations and ambitions of our institute, and it will serve as a beacon of excellence for years to come.”

Amayaevbo also expressed gratitude to past presidents and stakeholders who contributed to the realization of the project, underscoring the collective resolve that drove its success.

The commissioning of NIESV’s new national secretariat not only signifies a significant milestone for the institute but also underscores its unwavering commitment to professionalism, excellence, and positive change in the Nigerian real estate sector.
