It’s that time of year, as the NFL is set to crown a champion for the 2023 season. The game has become one of the biggest events in the United States and is one of the most-watched sporting contests on television. However, finding out just where you can watch the big game has never been more difficult. So, this guide will answer how to stream the Super Bowl for free.

To put into context the popularity of the NFL’s final game, last year the Super Bowl was watched by more than 114 million people. However, that figure did not take into account all the various viewing platforms available. When that is considered, the number is estimated to add another million viewers.

With the advent and prominent rise of streaming platforms, more people than ever are quitting cable. In this guide, we will answer where you will be able to watch the San Francisco 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 58. More importantly, we’re going to tell you how to watch it for free.

According to the NFL, the Super Bowl is set to be aired on CBS television. Moreover, they promoted the event to take place on Paramount+, the streaming platform created by CBS. However, that does not take into account how you could get free access to the world’s biggest game.

Paramount+

As stated previously, Super Bowl 58 is set to be aired on the CBS network. However, it will also be shown on PAramount+, the platform that is from ViacomCBS. Although the service does require you to pay for it, it also features a free trial.

Specifically, Paramount Essential offers a 7-day free trial to prosepctive users. Moreover, the platform offers a free trial for both of its plan offerings; Essential and Premium. The difference between both is the channels and content that you have access to and the advertisements that you see.

After the trial is complete, you will only need to pay $5.99 per month for the essential plan. Altneratively, the Premium plan will incur a charge of $11.99 a month. Both trials will allow you to watch the Super Bowl for free, with proceedings months requiring payment. However, the value of the entire streaming platform is undeniable, considering the plethora of content CBS features.

Fubo TV

Another streaming option that allows you to watch the Super Bowl for free is Fubo TV. Similarly to Paramoubt+, this platform allows free viewing of the NFL’s championship game through a free trial. Moreover, it is also similar to the CBS vehicle in that the free trial lasts seven days.

However, where these two platforms differ is that you can cancel Fubo at any time. Altogether, the offering is similar to what is offered through Paramount+ and offers another streaming platform for the big game.

Although these are all the free ways you can watch the Super Bowl, they are not the only ways. Indeed, there are a host of streaming platforms that will allow you access to the NFL Super Bowl this Sunday when the Kansas City Cheifs attempt to repeat as champions against the San Francisco 49ers.

Alongside the previously mentioned Paramount+ and FuboTV, you are also able to watch the Super Bowl on YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, DirecTV, and Sling TV. These are the streaming locations for the big game, whereas it is also available on cable through the previously mentioned CBS network, and Nickelodeon for kids.

The game is one of the most important in the modern NFL. It will see Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs seek to cement its legacy in its fourth trip to the Super Bowl in four years. Subsequently, Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy is seeking to quarterback the San Francisco 49ers to their first Super Bowl victory since 1994.
