As the Africa Housing Awards 2023 beckons, The Executive Director, Housing Development Advocacy Network (HDAN), Barrister Festus Adebayo, has harped on the importance of recognizing and promoting excellence in Service delivery ahead of the prestigious end of year dinner and Awards event.
The Executive Director of the pioneer housing Advocacy Organization stated this during an interview with Newsmen in Abuja. He said that the Africa Housing Awards has become imperative today because it is the ultimate platform for encouraging Excellence and spurring better achievements in the Real Estate sector. He also emphasized the need to continually encourage the good aspirations and giants strides of players in the sector so as to set the pace for better performance in the following years.
He said “this is the fifth Edition. This has been our way of appraising good performance and encouraging excellence in the Real Estate sector. It is always a time for stakeholders to gather together, dance and dine after a tedious 12 months. It is also a way to recognize excellence and encourage those with good aspirations to do more. The Awards event also recognizes the performance of Governors who are housing-friendly will be appreciated. To us it is a time for relaxation, to thank God for a successful year.”

Stressing on the uniqueness of the Africa Housing Awards 2023, Adebayo stated that Notable Dignitaries like the Minister for Housing and Urban Development, arc. Ahmed Dangiwa, and other high- powered officials from Nigeria and Africa are also expected to grace the Occasion. distinguish it from previous Editions.
According to the Director, the event this year will have participants from Ghana, Kenya, South some notable organizations jostling for Awards are Julius Berger, Eko Atlantic, Urban Shelter, UPDC, Cosgrove, Brains and Hammers, Bilaad Realty, among others. Representatives from Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, are expected to witness the showpiece. Not less than 36 leading brands in various sub-sectors such as Alternative energy, Mortgage, Real Estate and Interior Decoration. The event is powered by pioneer housing advocacy organization, HDAN, with the support of pioneer housing Television, housing TV Africa. This year’s Edition is the fifth Edition of the showpiece and will be taking place on the 17th of December 2023 at the International Conference Centre Abuja.
