Yamaha by CFAO Motors Kick Starts Yamaha Road Music Challenge

In a bid to boost talent and foster creativity amongst the Kenyan youth; Yamaha by CFAO Motors has today launched the Yamaha Motors Road Music Challenge.

The 2-month competition will require participants to share a video recording of themselves singing to a special Yamaha music track that will see the overall winner ride away with a Brand-New Yamaha Scooter Motorbike while ,1st Runners up & 2nd runners up take home Ksh. 100,000 and Ksh. 50,000 respectively.

The competition is open to all Kenyan citizens above the age of 18 while those under the age of 18 years must obtain parental/guardian consent to enter the competition.

Speaking during the launch event CFAO Motors Managing Director, Arvinder Reel encouraged Kenyans to participate in the challenge and showcase their creativity and talent “The Yamaha Motors Road Music Challenge is not just a competition; it is a celebration of the power of music to unite, inspire, and uplift us. Through the brand’s slogan “Revs Your Heart,” we are calling on all Kenyans to bring to life their creativity and talent to boldly express their feelings through this challenge. I believe that by doing so, we shall be inspiring the next generation of musical talent.”

To take part in the competition participants must follow Yamaha by CFAO Motors on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter & download the tune from the link on the social media pages or CFAO Motors Kenya website.

Participants should then record a video of themselves performing to the beat and include the words “Rev with Yamaha”. Once this has been done participants will need to upload their videos on their Social media while tagging Yamaha by CFAO Motors & 3 friends while utilizing the hashtags #YamahaByCFAOKe #YamahaMotorsRoadMusicChallengeKE. Additionally, participants should utilize a preferred Yamaha motorbike hashtag e.g., #YamahaRayZR or #YamahaFZ150.

During the launch event at the Yamaha Showroom, participants were urged to think outside the box and showcase their different strengths and styles just like those of the different Yamaha bikes. “Whether you choose to rap as quickly as the acceleration of our Yamaha R3 bike or kick a cool unique flow just like the sleek and unique design of our Yamaha FZ 250 model or the Yamaha RZ 110 model, we want to see just how creative Kenyans can get with their different expressions” said CFAO Motors Deputy Managing Director Joshua Anya during the launch event in Nairobi.

The top 50 videos with the most likes on social media will be assessed and approved by the competition’s judges Wyre Da Love Child and Producer Riccobeatz to proceed to the next rounds.

The Yamaha Motors Road Music challenge is part of CFAO Motors’ long-term agenda of creating long-lasting avenues to facilitate interaction with customers across all age groups. Yamaha, with its vast array of quality & reliable motorcycles has brought the joy of riding to countless hearts enabling memorable journeys.
