Angels and Muse Announce “Pencil Me Down” Group Art Exhibition

Angels and Muse have announced a group art exhibition titled “Pencil Me Down”.  This exceptional showcase features contemporary Nigerian artists bound by a shared passion for the art of drawing. The exhibition promises an impressive collection of drawings spanning diverse styles, techniques, and subjects.

Akanimoh Umoh, one of the participating artists, infuses the show with warmth through his locally inspired figurative pieces, rendered with red conte pencil, capturing the pulse of everyday Nigerian life. Other featured artists include Anthony Ezeifedi, Austin Uzor, Elizabeth Ekpetorson, Laju Sholola, Victor Ehikhamenor and Ibe Ananaba – who is also the curator of the show.

Furthermore, this exceptional showcase offers a diverse collection of drawings in various styles and subjects. “Pencil Me Down” explores intricate portraits and bold abstract compositions, showcasing the pencil’s versatility. Each artist contributes unique perspectives, creating a rich tapestry of creativity and expression in the exhibition.
