Saipem Bags Contract for Baleine Field Expansion

Italian multinational oilfield services company Saipem has secured a contract with Ivorian National Oil Company Petroci and global energy major Eni for the development of the Baleine Phase 2 project, located off the coast of Ivory Coast.

Under the terms of the contract, Saipem will provide equipment as well as engineering, procurement, construction and installation services for up to 20 km of rigid lines, 20km flexible risers and 15km of umbilicals for a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessel. Saipem will utilize its own vessels to conduct the installation works, targeted for 2024.
