As pressure grows on agriculture to produce more food while protecting natural resources, leading researchers and industry specialists will meet to explore innovative approaches to sustainable farming.

The conference will focus on agroecology and sustainable agricultural systems, with the aim of fostering collaboration between academia, industry and practitioners working across the agricultural value chain.

Agricultural systems today operate within a complex set of environmental, social, and economic pressures. While productivity remains essential to feeding a growing global population, organisers note that farming practices must increasingly balance production with long-term sustainability. ICAS 2026 aims to provide a platform where experts can discuss practical pathways to achieving that balance.

Participants will have the opportunity to present their research through oral presentations and poster sessions, showcasing the latest scientific advances and innovations in agriculture. Conference sessions will cover a range of key themes shaping the future of farming, including:

  • Pest management in sustainable farming systems
  • Crop rotation and agroecological management approaches
  • Fertility management in sustainable agricultural systems
  • Biostimulants and biological control technologies
  • Precision agriculture and agroecology
  • The economics of regenerative and sustainable farming systems
  • Agroecological approaches to soil management

The organisers are inviting companies and industry partners to participate through sponsorship and partnership opportunities, providing a platform to showcase new agritech solutions and innovations that support more resilient and sustainable agricultural systems.

Organisers say the event will create an opportunity for stakeholders across the agriculture sector to exchange ideas, share research findings and strengthen collaboration aimed at building more sustainable farming systems worldwide.

Further information on registrations, sponsorship packages and research submissions is available on the conference website at sciforum.net/event/ICAS2026.
