Every harvest season brings new challenges, and farmers need machines that rise to meet them with strength, efficiency and intelligence. The new John Deere S7 Combine has been designed with exactly that in mind.

It combines dependable hardware with advanced technology to deliver a harvesting experience that is more productive, more comfortable and more intuitive than ever before.

At its core, the S7 focuses on delivering better fuel efficiency, higher productivity and greater operator comfort. John Deere has taken the rugged power that farmers rely on and paired it with smart technology that lightens the workload while improving results. The result is a combine built to perform consistently, even in changing field conditions.

A new engine

One of the most significant upgrades is the new John Deere 9-litre engine. It delivers a strong combination of power and fuel economy, giving operators the confidence to push through demanding conditions without unnecessary fuel consumption. More power means more capability, but the S7 also makes sure that power is used wisely.

Productivity receives a considerable boost through a larger 10 600-litre grain tank and faster unloading speeds. Fewer stops for unloading mean more time spent harvesting. When every minute counts, the ability to stay in the field longer becomes a real advantage.
Technology plays a major role in elevating the S7 beyond traditional combine performance.

The machine is available with three Technology Packages that include a range of automation and guidance tools. These tools help operators improve precision, reduce mistakes and manage long days with less stress.

Comfort has not been overlooked. The S7 cab is larger, quieter and more refined, offering the same environment found in the John Deere X9. Operators will appreciate the upgraded seat, redesigned swing ladder, brighter LED lighting and updated Primary Corner Display.

The G5Plus CommandCenter Display adds even more convenience with 35% more screen space, clearer images and faster processing. Everything is within easy reach, allowing operators to stay focused and productive. Intelligence is built directly into the S7.

Ground Speed Automation helps maintain consistent crop feeding by automatically adjusting the ground speed based on real time data from sensors around the combine.

Harvest Settings Automation lets the machine optimise itself according to the operator’s goals, whether the focus is on grain quality, loss reduction or overall efficiency.

Smoother harvesting

The most advanced feature is Predictive Ground Speed Automation. Using stereo cameras mounted at the front of the combine and satellite-based yield predictions from the John Deere Operations Center, the system can anticipate variations in crop conditions before the combine reaches them. This allows the machine to increase peak feedrates by up to 20% in almost any crop environment. The result is smoother harvesting and improved performance across the field.

Grain handling has also been enhanced to help farmers maximise every load. The S7 includes an adjustable spout and a cross-auger shutoff for easier, more controlled unloading. Improved loss sensing provides more accurate feedback, helping operators fine-tune performance with fewer false alerts.

With the S7 Combine, John Deere has created a machine that blends strength and intelligence to deliver a better harvesting experience. It supports operators with smart automation, powerful hardware and thoughtful design that reduces stress while improving productivity. The S7 is built for farmers who expect more from every harvest, and it is ready to meet the future of farming with confidence.
