“Occasional updates to pricing across our markets reflect the value that Spotify delivers, enabling us to continue offering the best possible experience and benefit artists,” the company said in a blog post.

In November 2025, Financial Times reported that the audio platform is set to raise prices in the U.S in the first quarter of 2026. According to the report, analysts from JPMorgan predicted that this hike could increase Spotify’s revenue by $500 million.

The company has made similar hikes in markets like the UK and Switzerland last year.

The company has more than 281 million paid users all over the globe, and 25% of them are from North America, acorrding the its Q3 2025 results.
