The Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has disclosed standardized sale prices for housing units under the Renewed Hope Estate Programme across the nation.

This announcement, made by the Ministry’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Badamasi Haiba, was released in Abuja on Thursday.

The housing units, consisting of one-, two-, and three-bedroom semi-detached bungalows, are part of the Ministry’s initiative to enhance accessibility and equity in homeownership for Nigerians.

Haiba stated, “The approved selling prices are as follows: one-bedroom semi-detached bungalow: N8.5 million, two-bedroom semi-detached bungalow: N11.5 million, and three-bedroom semi-detached bungalow: N12.5 million.”

He further explained that the implementation of uniform pricing is intended to foster affordability, transparency, and fairness, ensuring that Nigerians from all regions have equitable access to the benefits of the Renewed Hope Housing Programme.

The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Dangiwa, emphasized that allocation of the housing units will prioritize low- and middle-income earners, civil servants at all tiers of government, employees in the organized private sector with verifiable incomes, as well as Nigerians residing abroad who seek to acquire homes in Nigeria.

In addition, the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Shuaib Belgore, elaborated that multiple payment options have been introduced to enhance affordability and flexibility regarding the housing units.

He noted, “These options include full payment, mortgage, rent-to-own schemes, and installment payment plans.”

The Ministry has also announced that the sale of completed housing units in both northern and southern regions will commence shortly.

Applications may be submitted through the Renewed Hope Housing online portal at www.renewedhopehomes.fmhud.gov.ng or can be obtained at the Ministry’s headquarters and field offices nationwide.

It is important to clarify that the stated prices pertain strictly to the Renewed Hope Housing Estates, funded through the Ministry’s budgetary allocation, and do not apply to the Renewed Hope Cities in Karsana, Abuja, Janguza, Kano, and Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, which are being financed through Public-Private Partnerships.qq
