Participants explored cutting-edge solutions in cloud, cybersecurity, IoT, and AI. Discussions also emphasized Safaricom’s readiness to provide future-proof digital tools that help businesses adapt and thrive.

“As digitisation accelerates across all sectors, businesses need trusted partners who deliver secure and scalable solutions. We aim to be that partner, guiding enterprises through their digital transformation journey,” said Frankline Okata, Acting Chief Enterprise Business Officer at Safaricom.

A Bold Market Shift

The event also reinforced Safaricom Business’ promise to power enterprise growth across Kenya.
“Safaricom Business Innovation Day is more than a showcase. It is a declaration of intent. We are no longer just a connectivity provider. We are evolving into a strategic digital partner, enabling businesses to harness technology and build resilience, competitiveness, and sustainability,” Okata added.

From Telco to Tech Enabler

The Innovation Day served as both a platform for new ideas and a statement of Safaricom’s market repositioning. The company is shifting from a traditional telco to a full-scale technology enabler, shaping the future of enterprise in Kenya and the wider region.
