KCB Tour Boosts Regional Golf and Youth Development
The KCB East Africa Golf Tour continues to foster a strong golfing culture in the region. So far, the tour has covered six counties across Kenya—Kiambu, Kericho, Nandi, Nairobi, Mombasa, and Nanyuki and made a regional stop in Burundi.
Rosalind Gichuru, KCB Group Director of Marketing and Communications, highlighted the growing importance of the sport in Nyanza and the tour’s focus on nurturing talent:
“Golf in Nyanza is growing steadily. We’re excited to support this development, especially among the youth. This weekend, the top two teams will qualify for the grand finale on December 5. Competition is heating up as players push to earn their spots.”
The tour has already impacted more than 1,500 participants and engaged over 1,000 juniors through golf clinics. As part of this commitment, KCB will host another juniors-only clinic on Sunday, June 15, at Nyanza Golf Club.
Next, the KCB East Africa Golf Tour moves to Kiambu Golf Club on June 21, 2025, continuing its mission to grow the game across the region.
