At the heart of the partnership is Equity Bank’s role as the exclusive issuer and acquirer of American Express cards in Kenya. Equity now offers two Amex card options—the Green Card and the Gold Card—both tailored to meet the evolving needs of Kenya’s growing middle class and upwardly mobile consumers. These cards allow customers to earn Membership Rewards® points for everyday spending, including shopping at Carrefour outlets.

The Gold Card takes things a notch higher, with added perks such as travel insurance, purchase protection, and access to over 1,300 airport lounges worldwide.
The Amex cards issued by Equity are accepted both locally—at all Equity POS terminals—and internationally, giving cardholders flexibility and peace of mind wherever they shop.
