Thales has inaugurated its new Panoramic next-generation night vision goggles at a special operations tech event in Martignas Sur Jalle, France.
The solution, designed for critical missions such as counter-terrorism and extraction, is built with four light intensification tubes to provide dismounted personnel with an extended peripheral field of view without turning their heads.
This device has an ergonomic architecture weighing 740 grams (1.6 pounds) and a size no wider than a helmet.
