Education remains a driving force behind Africa’s development, with several nations making significant strides in expanding access to quality learning. Despite historical challenges such as infrastructure deficits and teacher shortages, many African countries have successfully implemented major reforms and invested in modern technology to enhance their education. According to the 2024 Best Countries for Education rankings by US News, South Africa is Africa’s top education destination, ranking 39th globally.
