Grand Baie, a coastal town in Mauritius, has seen its millionaire population grow by an astonishing 95% from 2013 to 2023, making it Africa’s fastest-growing town for the wealthy, according to Henley and Partners 2024 Africa Wealth Report. Known for its stunning white beaches, the area now attracts affluent business leaders, with Ferraris and Lamborghinis dotting its streets. The town’s development has been fueled by luxury real estate, with property prices soaring to over $5,000 per square meter. Grand Baie has transformed from a tourist hotspot to a high-end residential destination.
