The Forbes 30 under 30 list includes 30 awardees in each of the 20 categories, such as Social Media, Healthcare, Social Impact, Marketing and Advertising, and AI among others.

Collectively, this year’s awardees have raised an impressive $3.6 billion in funding

A key highlight of this year’s listing is the introduction of the AI category. Forbes noted that the addition reflects the profound impact AI has had on the technology ecosystem in recent years, with investors pouring in $27 billion into U.S. AI startups between April and June alone.

“It’s necessary. The technology is poised to change how we live, work, build and create–and the global market for artificial intelligence is projected to grow to $631 billion by 2028.” Forbes noted.

Finalists were selected from hundreds of nominations and online submissions sourced from venture capital firms, universities, and startup accelerators. After months of research by list editors, candidates were assessed by a panel of expert judges.
