Starlink, the American satellite internet provider has introduced a rental option for its internet hardware in Kenya. This allows customers to acquire the necessary equipment through installments.

Under this new model, Kenyans can now access Starlink’s internet service by paying a one-time activation fee of Ksh2,700 and a monthly rental fee of Ksh1,950 for the hardware. This initiative aims to make Starlink’s services more affordable for Kenyans who previously faced significant upfront costs, with hardware prices ranging from Ksh29,000 to Ksh74,000.
