In Maseru, Lesotho, the 1st Africa Preparatory Meeting for the World Radiocommunication Conference 2027 (WRC-27) commenced. This significant event brings together ICT leaders from across Africa with the objective of formulating and coordinating common African proposals, strategies, and action plans for the upcoming WRC-27.

Over the next few days, participants will focus on aligning their efforts and noting the implementation of ATU Strategic Plan elements related to radiocommunications. This meeting underscores the continent’s commitment to ensuring that Africa’s interests are effectively represented at the WRC-27.

The collaborative discussions and strategic planning sessions held during this meeting are expected to play a crucial role in shaping the future of radiocommunications across Africa, contributing to the continent’s technological advancement and integration into the global ICT landscape.
