All These Worlds Are Yours
“All These Worlds Are Yours” presented by Wunika Mukan Gallery unveils a series of prints and works on paper by Philip Fagbeyiro for his debut solo exhibition. On view from March 2nd to March 18th, 2024, this exhibition drives into the enablement of exploration and connections between our subjective inner worlds. The exhibition presents viewers with a deep but non-exhaustive dive into one of the many facets of a highly detailed science fantasy world.
Philip Fagbeyiro is an artist based in Lagos, Nigeria. He earned a Bsc in Architecture from the University of Lagos and uses his skills to create illustrative works that depict representative scenes of people interfacing with hypothetical future and past technologies. He is particularly interested in thinking about the near and far future of humanity and what we become afterwards. Fagbeyiro has exhibited his work in various group exhibitions locally and abroad, including the LagosPhoto Festival, and Remote Gallery in Toronto. He has also applied his talent for worldbuilding and storytelling to several cultural and curatorial projects such as the Guests for The Future installation at the 2023 Venice Bienale and the Woven Threads IV fashion showcase in Lagos.

“Floating in Place” opens on Sunday, 3rd March 2024 featuring Nola Ayoola, Ololade Lawal, Shanon Bono, Sharon Walters, Theresah Ankomah and Vanessa Endeley; five incredible female artists who explore the subject through different lens of personhood, womanhood and blackness that encourage interpretation and introspection. The exhibition runs till 7th April, 2024.
